Group Classes

Body Camp: SWEAT

The name Body Camp refers to our signature class, which will have two variations: SWEAT and LIFT.  Both our signature classes will still follow our philosophy of full-body functional training which is rooted in the science of human movement. Body Camp: SWEAT is comparable to our former Metabolic Burn class.

 

The 45-55 minute class is filled with high intensity, calorie burning, low impact exercises using a wide variety of equipment such as, but not limited to, treadmills, sleds, battle ropes, ViPRs, sandbags and Airdyne bikes. Like all our original group classes, our new program follows the BSF signature format of training, which includes everything from our dynamic warm up to get your body ready to move to our cool down stretch for recovery.

Monday: MetCon – This day will focus on metabolic conditioning (a fancy word for getting your heart rate up and keeping it there), a great class to wake the body up after the weekend and get ready for what’s to come for the rest of the week.
Wednesday: Speed/Agility – This day will focus on releasing your inner athlete, the day’s focus will include Speed, Agility and Quickness drills, kettlebell complexes and multi-directional work.
Saturday: Full Body – This day will focus on total body conditioning, which is ideal for the weekend warrior pressed for time.
Sunday: Full Body – This day will focus on total body conditioning, which is ideal for the weekend warrior pressed for time.

Body Camp: LIFT

Body Camp: LIFT is comparable to our former Body Camp class.

This 45-55 minute class is a progression series, focusing on full body building strength and power over the span of 4 weeks. New movements will be introduced to the class and will be given the opportunity to perfect the exercise while staying challenged. The exercises are a mix of strength and power to optimize your overall athleticism. A variety of equipment will be used but not limited to Kettlebells, Sandbags, resistance bands, and ViPRs. Like all our original group classes, our new program follows the BSF signature format of training, which includes everything from our dynamic warm up to get your body ready to move to our cool down stretch for recovery. We encourage drop-in’s and will always offer modifications of exercises when necessary.

 

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: Body Camp LIFT: Full Body workout, focusing on building strength and power.

Kettlebell and Core*

Kettlebell and Core is for those looking to take their workouts up to a high level using basic and advanced kettlebell moves and techniques, combined with various core exercises to create a great total body workout. The class integrates bands, slides, and TRX’s moves in combination with Kettlebell exercises. Students will learn all about building “complexes” for a metabolic challenge that’s sure to help get you results. Kettlebell and Core is for those already training at a high level, wondering how to put kettlebells to use more effectively in their workout. This is not your beginner’s level class!
